In this version of the famous myth, Cupid is struggling with typical teen problems when he falls for Psyche. Now it’s Hades chance to tell the REAL story. Well, it turns out that Zeus is a bit of a myth-o-maniac, someone who spins wild myths that are not entirely true. We are all familiar with Zeus’ version of Cupid and Psyche’s story. It's a great introduction into Greek Myths and a good catalyst for discussing good personality traits.more It's a sweet story of love, perseverance and gratitude. She loves Cupid so she doesn't mind all the tasks Aphrodite makes her do. She's willing to accept her fate but doesn't mind doing the hard work. She's beautiful but that doesn't matter to her. Without Hades help, Psyche would never be able to settle down with Cupid and find happiness. The list of tasks continue to grow as Psyche ages.

It's not that this is a better story but I understand the rythym of the books better now. I think I liked this story better than Say Cheese, Medusa.
